Jacqueline van Egeraat, MD

Dr. van Egeraat completed medical school and family medicine residency training at Radboud University Nijmegen in eastern Holland. After residency, she practiced family medicine between the United States and Holland for a few years before permanently moving to the United States. She completed an additional family medicine residency with an emphasis in rural health at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

She practiced community health in Nebraska for five years following her residency there. She and her husband love the outdoors and the beauty of the Black Hills, which influenced their move to the area in 2008. At this time, she began practicing with the Community Health Center of the Black Hills. She joined Rapid City Medical Center’s Family Medicine Department in 2017.

She enjoys providing multigenerational care because it allows her to build relationships with her patients and their families as she follows them through the stages of life. Within family medicine, she is especially interested in diabetes management and women’s health.
